Stage 1 – North Group – Thompson’s Corner to Richmond – Meet from 7:30am for 8:00am start

Proceed in convoy to Visitor Tourist Information Centre, Opposite RAAF Base, Richmond Road, Clarendon

Stage 1 – South Group – Contact John Anastas or Gary Beaton for details

Proceed in convoy to either Thompson’s Corner, West Pennant Hills, or the Visitor Tourist Information Centre, Opposite RAAF Base, Richmond Road, Clarendon

Stage 2 – Richmond to Bilpin – 9:00 am Start from Visitor Tourist Information Centre, Opposite RAAF Base, Richmond Road, Clarendon

0	Exit Visitors Centre and turn left onto Richmond Road
1.7	Turn right into Pitt Street, (just after Mitre 10 on left)
2.6	Turn Left into Clarendon Road
2.8	Turn Right into Dight Street
4.2	Take sharp right turn in road
4.7	Turn Left into Cupitts Lane, travel through the “Lowlands” around turf farms. This area is regularly patrolled by police
6.5	Turn Right into Cornwallis Road
8.4	Turn Right following Cornwallis Road which becomes Greenway Crescent
11.0	Turn Right into Moses Street (historic St Matthews Church on right)
11.3	Turn Left onto Richmond Road and travel only 400m. Keep to middle lane at next lights
11.7	Turn Left onto Macquarie Street
12.8	Turn Left onto Bridge Street. Continue straight through roundabout, over Windsor Bridge. Follow signs to Wilberforce and Putty. More turf farms. Continue past Butterfly Farm
18.5	Take William Street on left. Follow signs for Putty
21.2	Truck Parking Stop – Group up point
26.4	Turn Left onto East Kurrajong Road. This is pleasant rolling foothills driving
38.5	Turn Left onto Comleroy Road
41.5	Turn Right onto Bells Line of Road (Kurrajong). Continue up Bellbird Hill.
46.9	Beware of SPEED CAMERA at top of Bellbird Hill (ensure you are travelling no faster than 60kph before you approach the lookout on right)
51.6	Tourist Information Board – Group up point
59.5	Bilpin – Breakfast at Ivy Inn Café

Stage 3 – Proceed to Mount Tomah along Bells Line of Road

71.7	Turn Left into Mt Tomah Botanical gardens. Beware of the Speed humps. Entry cost is $4.40 per adult, Seniors $3.30. Family (2 adults and 2 children) $8.80.

Optional extensions can include the gardens of Mt Wilson, Zig Zag Railway, or beyond to Bathurst. Return can be via Bells Line of Road, or via Bell, Mt Victoria, and the Great Western Highway
