Late Breakfast run to Wollombi

This is a 1 - 1.5 hour run commencing at the old Berowra tollgates and driving through Central Mangrove and on to Wollombi. Depending on the route taken home, it can be extended into a full day run for those with the time to spare.

Meeting Place:	old Berowra Tollgates
Times:	Gather at 8.45 for 9.15am start

Start 0km:

	Leave Berowra, head north and join F3 Freeway
23.6	Take Peats Ridge Exit and veer left – follow sign to Calga/Peats Ridge
37.5	Veer left onto Scenic Route 33 signposted to Central Mangrove, Wiseman’s Ferry and Wollombi
39.5	Straight on through Central Mangrove
67.0	Pass turnoff to Wiseman’s Ferry on left
77.0	Narrow bridge – Thompson’s Bridge
90.5	Arrive Wollombi

Wollombi Tavern is on the left. Turn right beyond Tavern into parking area next to tennis courts, signposted with a Blue ‘P’. The Tavern will supply late breakfast, including Bacon/eggs, sausages, burgers/rolls etc

We are booked at the Tavern at 10.30am

Short walk to museum, café, craft shops etc.

Also 1km drive to Undercliff Vineyard (unsealed road) offering tastings etc and excellent Muscat

Ways Home:

	back the same way;
	back same way but turn right (after approx 23km) through Spencer and Wiseman’s Ferry;
	turn right at Wollombi for Cessnock and return down F3 or coastal roads;
	continue north through Broke to Putty Rd (approx 45km) and back down Putty Rd to Windsor (narrow twisting road through Broke with magic scenery).
