Weekend Away in the Southern Highlands - Aug 14-15 2010
Richard & Sue Audsley, Steve & Chris Bode, Hugh & Mary Paz
Buckle, Chris & Allana Mackertich, Geoff & Trish Mills, Jon & Franki Pinkerton
and Ross Fergus from Brisbane with his Canstel clubman, spent a couple of nights at the Bakehouse Motel,
Berrima. Days were spent in relaxed mode enjoying one another's company,
good food, wine and the beautiful countryside of the Southern Highlands. On
Saturday we visited Sutton Forest Estate Wines for a tasting and light lunch, hosted by
Nick and Santina Lo Russo, the Vignerons. Altogether a fantastic weekend, cold
but beautifully fine days other than a brief shower with some hail on Saturday.

Lunch at the Scarborough Hotel - 28

A group of members involved in organising the 2009
Clubbie Nats in Jindabyne gathered for lunch at the Scarborough Hotel,
Wollongong's oldest licensed premises. Those who were able to come and
enjoy lunch, a natter, good company and the view from the lawn were Richard and Sue
Audsley, Steve and Chris Bode, Warren and Sue Bromley, Hugh and Mary Paz
Buckle, Peter and Anda Garlick, Chris and Allana Mackertich, Geoff and
Trish Mills, Jon and Franki Pinkerton. Unfortunately Greg and Bronwyn
Newman couldn't make it, nor could Norm and Sandy Needham.
